Any private enterprise individual, firm,
partnership or corporation is eligible to be a Category II
member if it is operating as a telecommunications company,
is authorized to do business in Florida, and is engaged in
any of the following principal lines of business:
inter-exchange carrier services; local exchange service as an
adjunct to the principal business but not eligible as a
Category I member; alternative local exchange services;
cellular; radio common carrier; personal communications
services; competitive access provider; alternative access
vendor; radio paging; cable TV company; reseller of
telecommunications services; enhanced telecommunications
service provider; carriers’ carrier; dark fiber provider; or
any other telecommunications company as may be approved by
the Board of Directors.
